In March 2020, we launched our Faith Campaign – “4 Generations to Come.” After years of prayer and thanks to your dedicated giving to our church, we are blessed to be taking the steps towards building an Anastasia Family Center, which will house our new preschool, children and youth spaces, and an Anastasia Activity Center. We are thrilled for what’s in store and so grateful to the Lord for His faithfulness and vision for our church.
It’s now March 2022. In the next few months, Anastasia Church will be asked to make some very important decisions. The Building Steering Committee is reporting that they are taking preliminary steps to potentially make a proposal in June. This proposal is to seek the church’s approval to begin construction on a Family Ministry Center at Anastasia Baptist Church on the island.
As we prepare for this time of decision, would you join me in a 21-day season of prayer and fasting through March 27th? We will be praying for a clear understanding of God’s will, for wisdom on the part of the Building Steering Committee, for wisdom on the part of the congregation, for favor in gathering of bids, for favor in speaking with financial institutions, and for unity in the body of Christ.
It is so very important that we don’t move forward without first seeking the Lord’s will.
Over the next few weeks. we’ll be posting prayer guides on our Facebook each day and, each Monday, seven days at a time will be emailed to our attenders.
